It is with regret I advise that John Hawkings has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. John passed away peacefully at Shona McFarlane Rest Home in Lower Hutt on May 30 2018, aged 100.

Rest in Peace John. Thank you for your service.

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn
