It is with regret I advise that Allan McKechnie has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Allan passed away on April 28, 2018, in Nelson, in his 99th year.

Rest in Peace Allan. Thank you for your service.

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
