It is with regret I advise that Leonard Piercy has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Leonard passed away in Auckland, on 16th January 2018, ten days off his 97th birthday.

Rest in Peace Leonard. Thank you for your service.

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
