92nd Annual Reunion and Annual General Meeting

Greetings, fellow Gunners.

 

The Royal New Zealand Artillery Association (RNZAA) will hold its 92^nd Annual Reunion and Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Auckland.

 

Dates: Friday 9th October – Sunday 11th October 2026
Venues: Arch Hill Defence Centre & New Lynn Memorial RSA, Auckland

 

Be sure to secure your registration early.

 

Quick Overview

 

• Friday Evening: Registrations and Meet & Greet at Arch Hill Defence Centre, Grey Lynn. Arch Hill Defence Centre is home to 11/4 Battery and the former 11(A) Battery.

 

• Saturday Morning: AGM at Arch Hill Defence Centre.

 

• Saturday Afternoon: Historical amble through military points of interest around Devonport. Coach transport is provided to and from Arch Hill.

 

• Saturday Evening: Semi-formal reunion dinner at the New Lynn Memorial RSA.

 

• Sunday Morning: Memorial Service at the Auckland Cenotaph, Auckland Domain.

Friday 9th October

 

• From 5:00 PM – Registrations & Meet & Greet
  • Location: Arch Hill Defence Centre (upstairs Conference Centre and Garrison Club), 204 Great North Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland 1021.
  • Details: Snacks provided.

 

 

 

Saturday 10th October

 

• 9:00 AM – Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Location: Arch Hill Defence Centre (upstairs Conference Centre and Garrison Club).
  • Details: Morning tea, coffee, and biscuits provided.

 

• 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM – Afternoon Activity
  • Details: Historical amble through military points of interest around Devonport. The coach leaves Arch Hill Defence Centre at 12:30 PM and returns by 3:30 PM.

• 5:30 PM / 6:00 PM – Reunion Dinner
  • 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Assemble for pre-dinner drinks (own cost) at the New Lynn Memorial RSA Function Room, 2 Veronica Street, New Lynn.
  • 6:45 PM: Call to Dinner
  • 7:00 PM: Multi-choice buffet dinner (port provided).
  • 9:30 PM: Post-dinner socialising.
  • Dress Code: “Gentlemen – jacket and tie or mess kit, ladies equivalent, and medals worn please.”

Sunday 11th October

 

• 10:00 AM – Memorial Service
  • Location: Auckland Cenotaph, in front of Auckland War Memorial Museum, Auckland Domain, Parnell.

 

• 11:00 AM Onwards – Departure & Optional Lunch
  • Departures for home locations as required.
  • For those staying, an optional informal lunch gathering will be held at the Auckland War Memorial Museum Café (own cost).

 

• Note: The Royal New Zealand Artillery Band will play in the museum (time to be confirmed) in commemoration of the Battle of Passchendaele.
