St Barbara’s Day was celebrated at “Trenches Restaurant & Bar” (RSA) Christchurch, lunchtime and later on 4 December 2016.
The plan was to keep it simple & informal and that’s what happened.  We had quite a few apologies, too many to list.  The operation was carries out in 4 phases:
Phase 1:  The troops and families gathered.
Phase 2:  Some “informal formalities” took place.
Phase 3:  Some took advantage of the great facilities & had a meal.
Phase 4:  Detailed planning for the 32 (E) Bty 150th and enjoying a “quietie” (using the words of Garry Pickering).
