The Following Public Notice was published in the Dominion Post of Saturday 16 January 2016:   Approval of Code of Veterans’ and Other Claimants’ Rights
Pursuant to section34(1) of the Veterans’ Support Act 2014, the Minister of Veterans’ Affairs hereby gives notice that the Code of Veterans’ and other Claimants’ Rights has been approved. Approval of the Code was notified in the New Zealand gazette on Thursday 17 December 2015, and the Code came into force on 18 December 2015.
The Code sets out standards regarding how Veterans’ Affairs deals with veterans and other claimants.  The Code is available on the Veterans’ Affairs website at:  www.veteransaffairs.mil.nz
