The new Christchurch Memorial RSA was the meeting place for local Christchurch Gunners on St Barbara’s Day.  In traditional fashion, stories (all with an element of truth) were told, drinks and food enjoyed.   Present were Jill & Skin Frances, Barry, Mike Burke, Ruru Hona, Sony Manuel, David Bolam-Smith, Paul Fergus, Pete Colishaw, Craig Ruane and Adrienne Fraser.  Click here to view pictures.
 
Planning for future events progressed as the drinks flowed.  We are looking at a working bee and BBQ at Adrienne Fraser’s some time Feb/Mar and a dinner at the RSA for Gunners Day.  Pete Dawson’s offer to host the 2019 RNZA Reunion and AGM in Christchurch was talked about.  (Pete is scheduled for “counselling” by the team).  Planning for “something different” in 2019 is under way already.
