It is with a heavy heart that I advise you of the passing of Joe Panoho.   Huk TeNana phoned me to pass on the sad news.
The funeral with be in the far North and Shirley’s email address is  “[email protected]” .  There is to be a service at Schnapper Rock, Auckland, tomorrow at 2.30pm before they take him to the Far North.

350648 Hohepa Joseph (Joe) PANOHO, RNZA, ex 1NZ Regiment 1961-63 Malaya, 161 Bty SVN, passed away at the North Shore Hospital, on Monday 20 October 2014.

A Service is to be held at the North Shore Memorial Park Chapel, 235 Schnapper Rock Road,
Albany, today 22 October 2014, at 1430 hrs, followed by refreshments. Following the Service Joe is to be taken back to the Takahiwai Marae, 229 Takahiwai Rd, Takahiwai.
A Funeral Service for Joe is to be held at the Marae, on Friday 24 October 2014, at 1100 hrs.
Joe is survived by his wife, Shirley, and sons, Kere and Darcy.
