Last Post:  42318 John Watino (Hoani) NIWA, RNZA, ex 161 Bty 1ATF  SVN, passed away peacefully at Waitara, on Wednesday 26 March 2014, aged 77.
John has been lying in state at the Kairau Marae, 52 Matarikoriko Road , Brixton, Waitara, since Friday, 28 March 2014. His Funeral Service is to be held at Te Hungaririki, Kairau Marae, tomorrow Friday 31 March 2014, at 1100 hrs, followed by interment at Kaipakopako, Bell Block.
John is survived by his wife, Ailwyn, and children, Barbara, Janetta, Erika (Muna), Kiri and Scott.
