Just a short note to thank you for helping make our Service yesterday a great success.
The National War Memorial provides the most special place for such events, and we are privileged to have the use of it – thank you Paul for all the arrangements you made for us.
John, we really were most impressed with the playing ability of Cpl Leighton Roberts – the sound that he produced in the Memorial was one of the best rendition of the Last Post that I have heard – a number of those present made very similar comments. Thank you to the & Battalion Band, and to Leighton for making the atmosphere so good.
