Some of you may not be aware Bill Giles had an accident at home last week and broke his hip.
Visited him yesterday in ward 10 MIDDLEMORE Hospital looks chirpy enough
They are hoping to operate today if they cannot he will be there for a long time on traction
I am sure we all wish Bill the very best of luck

PS Bill more than likely had the longest tour of most in VIETNAM in one straight stretch from Jul 65 to Jan 67
I know the some of the Force Comds  were there longer than that
I believe also Maj J C Brown MBE RNZAC also was but he was sent as a kind of punishment
