United States Memorial Day Service. Sunday May 26
The United States Veterans Club of New Zealand will hold its annual U.S. Memorial Day Service at Auckland War Memorial Museum’s Hall of Memories on Sunday, May 26 2013, at 2 p.m. 
The United States Veterans Club of New Zealand has laid wreaths at the Auckland War Memorial Museum every year since 1948, and this year’s commemoration will mark the 64th anniversary of the first U.S. Memorial Day service in Auckland.
All are welcome to attend the ceremony at the Museum.
2013 Winter Lecture Series.  Friday May 31
The 2013 Winter Lecture Series starts this month. Last Friday of the Month (May to Sep except July, 1 week earlier) at Arch Hill commencing 1900.
The May Lecture is on Gulf War 1 with a  presentation by a member of the US Marine Corp  who took part in Desert Shield / Desert Storm.
The June Lecture is also on Gulf War 1 and looks at NZ’s contribution, the Hospital in Bahrain.
