Hi Everyone
29-31 October 1863 (2013) is the 150th (sesquicentennial) Anniversary of the Battle at Meremere in the Waikato north of Hamilton City.
Several Battles in the Waikato and Tauranga Districts are to be commemorated and these events are presently being organized. It is understood that there is considerable interest from the UK and Australia as well as NZ.
I will circulate a program outlining the events when available which will probably start in November 2013 through to June 2014
Attached I have compiled a short article on the Battle at Meremere and the main arms used by both sides,
I would appreciate any comments and more information relating to the battle at Koheroa
