Laurie Stack who was involved with the Papanui RSA for a long time passed away last week.  I knew Laurie was RNZAF but I did not realise that the was a Sgt in Korea for RNZA.  He was a damn fine man.  A service for Laurie was held in Blenheim last Wednesday, 5 Aug 2015, and a Memorial Service was held at the Papanui RSA on Thursday, 6 Aug 2015.  I apologise for the lack of notice as I thought it was to be this week.   Major Colin Stanbridge served in Korea and possibly knew Laurie and I would appreciate if someone in Auckland could quietly tell Colin.
