It is with regret I advise that Russell Switalla has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky.  Russell passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 24th 2018 at Fitzgerald Complex, Christchurch, aged 95.
Rest in Peace Russell. Thank you for your service.
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old
