The RNZA Assoc collected for the re-construction of this memorial at the Christchurch  RNZAA re-union November 2011.   See details.  The memorial is for the complete detachment from an RNZA ack-ack gun on a landing craft going into Vella Lavella beach with 3 NZ Division.
