5 new items added to the NZ Arms Register

5 new items added to the list of Arms of Military & Police in NZ & Arms used by NZ Forces Overseas.  Click on the links below to view.

  • Smith & Wesson New Century Revolver. Caliber: 455”. Introduced 1914. Withdrawn: after WWII
  • Smith & Wesson New Century MKII Revolver. Caliber: 455”. Introduced 1915. Withdrawn: after WWII
  • Colt New Service MKI Revolver. Caliber: 455”. Introduced 1914. Withdrawn: after WWII
  • Sword.  Pattern: 1856? Colonial Cavalry /  Mounted Constabulary sword.  Introduced: NZ c1860s.  Withdrawn: c1920s
  • Sword.  Pattern:  1986 NZ Police Centennial sword.  Introduced: NZ 1986.  Withdrawn: Still in service
