"Action, action, action” Donations needed to save the "Standish" medals

Calling all Gunners and friends and readers.  The Heritage Trust has the chance to buy an important set of Gunner medals before they go to market.  They are the Standish medals covering Boer War through to the end of WW2, and including a DSO and mid at Gallipoli, and a CMG and mid from the Somme.  Maj Standish was a BC at Gallipoli and commanded the 3rd NZFA Brigade on the Somme.   He rose to Brig during WW2 when he was called out of retirement.

The Trust wants these medals.  Any donation will help. Ask your mates. Ask anyone who might donate.  If you are working, ask your firm – donations are tax deductible.  Details on the attachment.  We do not have much time so its “Action, action, action”
