Alpha Battery 150th Anniversary Committee calls All Gunners, (field, medium, heavy, antiaircraft, or coastal, Regular Force, National Service, or Territorial Force, for Alpha Battery, and for the Artillery Band) to help celebrate the 150th year of the presence of Artillery in Auckland.  Key events are:

 

  • Parade, Saturday 1100 h, Quay Street, Downtown Auckland.
  • Brew-Up, Saturday 1500 h, Gun Lines, 11/4 Battery, Arch Hill, Grey Lynn.
  • Formal Dinner, Saturday 1800 h for 1830 h, Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, Westhaven.
  • Artillery Band’s Church Parade, Sunday 1000 h, St Mathews in the City, Hobson Street.
