`Ex Ben Cat` will be held in Waiouru on Thursday 18 September 2014.

The CO 16 Field Regt has extended an invitation to ex gunners to spend a day in the field with the current gunners as they exercise in their operational role. This year 161 Battery will be into their 2nd day of an airmobile exercise.

Details are as follows;

• Thurs 18 Sept;Travel to Waiouru own arrangements.
• RV at the Waiouru Primary School carpark at 10.00am.
• Embus, tpt to exercise area 16 Fd Regt. Lunch provided in the field.
• Approx 1500 hrs return to Waiouru, overnight accommodation and dinner available.
• Fri 19 Sept. Disperse to home locations own arrangements.

Don`t forget how cold and wet Waiouru can get. You must provide your own cold/wet weather kit.  Ear protection will be provided.
