We are very sad to hear the news that Pete Dawson passed away on Saturday night.

Pete was a life member of the Royal New Zealand Artillery Association and recently the South Island member of the Committee.

He was very passionate about Gunnery things and very loyal to South Island Gunners, especially his beloved 32(E) Battery.

Gunners generally, and our Southern Gunners in particular, mourn the passing of one of the great RNZA personalities and stalwarts.
The whole New Zealand Gunner fraternity express their sorrow and sympathy to Pete’s family.

This will be a private time for the Dawson family who thank you for your understanding.  To honor Pete's wishes, there will be no funeral service.  His family invite you to privately celebrate Pete's memory in your own way.

Pete will be missed.
