Canterbury Gunners tour Godley Head to celebrate St Barbara's Day, early, on 1 December 13. Some made the most of the day and walked from Taylors Mistake, a good 1 hour trek. Gunners challenged on arrival at the sentry post by members of Christchurch East Battalion Home Guard. This was followed by lunch, a briefing on the history of Godley Head then a tour of the facilities and Taylor Battery
