A note of thanks to all on who had a hand in making the recent 81st AGM and Reunion in Christchurch a GREAT event. 

Thanks to the committee:
• Pete Dawson & Paul O’Connor for providing the fantastic new RSA as the venue (Pete is the President and Paul the Treasurer)
• Mike Burke & Ruru Hona for organising the registration (and packs).  Bernie said it was the smoothest she had observer.
• Craig Ruane & Archie Moore for the Godley Head “extravaganza”. (And the Local Fire Brigade for here diligence for responding to “smoke and loud bangs”.
• Paul Fergus & Sonny Manuel (Dining President & Mr Vice) for the entertaining excellent dinner.
• Bryant Hardy for attempting to encourage the “next generation” of gunners to attend.  He was partially successful – maybe more next time.

Special thanks to:
• RSA. Nigel O’Connor (General Manager of the Christchurch RSA) and Steve, his “right hand man”.
• The Christchurch City Council for supporting the event, by way of the Botanic Gardens tour and items for the registration pack.
• 17 Sqn ATC – in support of the dinner.   (Profits from the event allowed a donation to be given to the Sqn)
• The Godley Head Trust.  (Profits from the event allowed a donation to be given to the Trust)
• Archie and his team for the L5, blank and other “toys”.
• Bernie McCort for all her work managing the registration process.
