Wellington Gunners gather for St Barbara

A small group of Wellington Gunners gathered at the BackBencher on Friday afternoon to celebrate our patron Saint's day, and to recall people and events from the past.

The group represented current serving Gunners (in competition with the 16 Fd Regt Dinner that evening in Linton), retired territorial and regular gunners, and a former member of our sister regiment from Rhodesia.

Our next gathering will be on 26 May 2016 - the 300th anniversary of the the Royal Regiment, and will consist of the traditional commemorative service at the National War Memorial at midday, followed by a dinner that evening (details to be advised).

All Wellington based Gunners, and Gunners likely to be in Wellington at the time, should note these engagements now.
