Have you visited Te Papa’s World War One exhibition in Wellington, or been to the National War Memorial and Park? If you haven't done this yet, you could be interested in a trip that Northern gunners are planning, especially if you are a disabled Vet and less able to get about.
It is with regret I inform you that Howie Marsters has marched out for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky, on Saturday 29 July 2017.

It is my sad duty to inform you that Maj Graham Roch ED marched out to the Gunpark in the Sky on 12th July 2017 in Brisbane, Australia.
Graham served most of his long TF career in 22 Bty but was BC 4 MDM Bty when the last 5.5in shoot was held.
It is with regret I inform you that Stan Green has marched out for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky. Stan passed away peacefully on Sunday 9 July 2017 at Ranfurly Hospital and Veterans Home, Auckland.
Rest in Peace Stan. Thank you for your Service.
It is with regret I inform you that Ken Avenell has marched out for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky. Ken passed away peacefully after a long battle, on Tuesday 4 July 2017.

It is with regret I inform you that Bill Williams has marched out for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky. Bill passed away peacefully at Havelock North on 21st June 2017, aged 88 years.

It is with regret I inform you that Colin Velvin has marched out for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky. Colin passed away peacefully on Friday 9 June 2017 at Wanganui Hospital aged 87 years.

It is with regret I inform you that Jack Stratford has marched out for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky. Jack passed away peacefully in Rotorua on May 27, 2017.

It is with regret I inform you that Doug Watson has marched out for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky. Doug passed away peacefully on June 12, 2017, at Diana Isaac Retirement Village, Christchurch, in his 96th year.

Gunners day functions in Wellington were a commemorative service at the National War Memorial at midday attended by about 28 serving and former gunners and several partners - followed by a period of socialising at the Southern Cross.
16 Fd Regt will fire a 21 gun salute to mark our Captain General the Queen's official birthday. The salute will be fired from the Point Jerningham Saluting Bty in Wellington, at midday on Monday 5th June.
