Regretfully I must inform you that my brother WO1 Robert George (Bob) Blankley, Korean War Veteran and the first SMA (Sergeant Major of the Army), is very ill in hospital and does not have long to live. He is suffering from multiple secondary melanoma tumors after major surgery two years ago. H

Wellington based gunners and visitors to Wellington are requested to attend the celebration of our patron saint’s day at 1630 Friday 4 December 2015 in the Back Bar, The Backbencher Pub, Molesworth St.
Auckland Gunners will be gathering at the Birkenhead RSA on Friday 4 December from 1700 onwards` to commemorate St Barbara`s day.
A note of thanks to all on who had a hand in making the recent 81st AGM and Reunion in Christchurch a GREAT event.

With regret I inform you that 539427 Cpl FS (Fred) Crabbe, passed away on Wednesday 18th November in Tauranga. Fred was a clerk (Pay??) with 161 Battery in 1966, his funeral will be at the Katikati RSA at 1400 hours on Wednesday 25th November.

206860 Gunner BUCHANAN, Barry Hayman Korean War. Barry,of Feilding, passed away on 20 November 2015, peacefully at home surrounded by his devoted family. Aged 85 years.
