With sadness I have to report that B475480 Maj (Ret'd) Hugh Vercoe ONZM, QSM, ED passed away last night, 21st Oct.
Hugh was BC of 4(G) Mdm Bty from 1976-1982, and Mayor of the Matamata-Piako District Council from 1998-2013, .

Fellow Gunners. The 89th Annual Gathering & AGM for the RNZAA will be held in Trentham Camp on Fri 27th to Sun 29th October 2023. Registrations Close on Wednesday 18th October 2023.

Many of you will already be aware that His Majesty, King Charles III, has agreed to become our new Captain General.
A message from the Master Gunner of St James’s Park below confirms this – please promulgate widely.
163 Bty will conduct a salute from the Pt Jerningham saluting battery in Wellington on Sunday 7th May 2023 at 1200 to mark the Coronation of the King.
Attached is the order of service for the interment of the ashes of Sgt Al Don 161 BTY, KIA SVN 14 September 1965, and his wife Isabel. The interment is on Saturday 8 April 2023 at 1pm at Awa Tapu RSA Cemetery, 115 Valley Road Paraparaumu.
Joe Subritzky passed away in Papakura earlier this week. His passing followed on from a fall at home.

In the wake of the weather event in Auckland last month and the impact of Cyclone Gabriel, I am really conscious of the impact that this could have on our members.
For all of you who were affected in some way, our thoughts are with you.
The 2022 RNZA Association AGM was held on Saturday 12th November 2022 at The Richmond Club, Christchurch. Next year's 2023 AGM/Annual Reunion will be held in Wellington at Trentham Military Camp, on a weekend yet to determined in October or November 2023.
